Our weekend a few days before was a bit chaotic with my phone and wallet getting stolen and we had spent the week recovering our losses, not grocery shopping like we usually do. So, when my husband came through the door to a warm, but short-lived welcome, dinner-time madness began to set in. We were unprepared. We looked through the Kids-Eat-Free listings, but ended up narrowing our search close to home on East Harmony. For some reason (lack of judgment due to hunger?) we decided to go to Noodles & Company. We've been a handful of times before, but not anytime recently. It's never been a favorite place to visit and I've never been impressed. My opinion didn't change this time, either. The kids ate their Mac & Cheese just fine. However, I took a taste and found it to be too simple and bland. The noodles were great - thick, firm and a nice dense texture, but there was little sauce and shredded cheese was the main topped ingredient. Mac & Cheese isn't hard and I can whip up a damn good baked Mac & Cheese thanks to the help of Alton Brown's recipe just as easy as driving down the street for this plate of noodles with a sprinkling of cheese. This is actually what I make the kids when I'm in a rush at lunch, although I use whole wheat noodles and better cheese. I should have stayed home to make this. My dinner of Pesto Cavatappi was no different. The curly noodles were great, having the same thick, firm texture as the elbow macaroni, but the pesto was...lame. There's really no other way to put it. It only added color to the pasta and had virtually no flavor at all. There were hardly any vegetables. I got two bits of tomato and about four mushroom slices. The chicken breast was the worst part, having a flat, rubbery texture and a distinct processed taste. You know how every fast food joint has a signature "fake" flavor? That's how this was. It had been quite some time since we last visited Noodles & Company and I have a feeling it will be even longer the next time. They do a fantastic job with noodles, but it's what goes on the noodles that needs a lot of improvement.

My freinds and I really enjoy this place. It is a crowd pleaser as the food is fairly diverse. Asian, Italian andAmericanstyle. High quality and inexpensive. Good beer, soups, salads and sides. The pot stickers are good but a little weird, but the sauce is too sweet. My real negatives (and why only 3 stars) revolve around the fast food nature of the venue. Bightly lit, order at the counter and sit down in a booth. I think this concept could be upscaled a bit with some small changes. I do like the College Avenue location better with the upstairs deck.

This place was fabulous! When my old manager asked me if I wanted noodles and company, my Californian/Asian/San Franciscan state of mind immediately thought ramen. But boy was I wrong. Noodles of all kinds, shapes, sizes and sauces. You pick the dish (ranging from American - good old wisconsin mac and cheese - to Asian -Pad Thai, etc) then pick your meat. It was fab. They're pretty green - almost as green as the forced restaurants of San Francisco, with their biodegradable bag and recyclable noodle bowls. Another great thing was since I travel, we need receipts to document for our Expense Report. My co-worker wasn't given a receipt the time we took it to go. She went 5 hours later to the restaurant to request a copy. The employee asked her name and if it was a to-go order and printed it out with zero problems. Fabulous. I will come back to devour the Mac and Cheese goodness :) If only you were in San Francisco...

Good to a Asian fast food place, but the taste of the food is terrible.

I can't complain about the food because I really enjoy all of their dishes BUT the thing that really ticks me off is the fact that they are ALWAYS starting to clean-up at least an hour before closing. On 3 separate occasions I have gone it at 9pm, only to find the salt/pepper taken off the tables and people vacuuming around my feet. It isn't a very "welcome" feeling.

Food wasn't the problem, it was the cashier. Girl with long blond hair in a pony tail. Seemed very annoyed to help anyone. Didn't ask if I wanted anything else I just told her what I wanted and then she mumbled the total to me. Then the guy after me asked how she was and she said she was tired in a very whiney voice. After we both sat down I overheard her complaining about personal stuff to her coworkers. She clearly didn't want to be at work and definitely didn't want to talk to customers. I like to go to places where people are happy to be working there. It's a big turnoff when they seem to hate where they work.

I love noodles. Their food is always fresh and their staff is super nice. It's a great deal for a quick bite to eat!

Five stars for service, 3-3.5 stars for food. I used this particular location of Noodles for large orders at the office probably five times overall, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. They are friendly and incredibly accommodating to time constraints (we sometimes needed food for 15-20 ready by 11 am, when they open at 10:30) and dietary restrictions (we had them all: vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, meat lover, etc...). Everyone in the office loved the food. Great location, great staff, great food!

It was quite a struggle to download the Yelp app, but I did it nonetheless just to write a review on this place! The gentleman behind the counter (I think named Paul, he did tell me but I have an awful memory) gave me such excellent service I had to boast about him. He came out and asked if we'd ever eaten at a NoCo before and when we said we hadn't, he described all the dishes and how the menu was organized and upon telling him we were both vegetarians he went into all the meatless options which was awesome. He checked on us within two minutes of us getting our food and then again mid meal and at the end as well. I work in service industry and I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I had such pleasant and genuine service. We got the mac&cheese, tomato bisque, cucumber salad, and the wheat noodle Tuscan fresca and all of it was delicious and super affordable! They have the cool soda machines, too. I suggest ending your meal with a home made rice crispy treat which was giant. I will definitely be back!

Noodles is one of my favorite reliable fast-casual choices. I'm always 99% certain I'll get a great meal. Since they prepare your food after your order, you can change it up, like substituting veggies, changing the type of noodle in your pasta dish, etc. Plus, if you're not happy, it's the kind of place that will fix the problem. The Bangkok Curry is my current favorite. Flavorful and relatively healthy. For the health-conscious, calories are printed in the menu board. I also really enjoy the penne rosa, and the tomato basil bisque soup. While I LOVE pesto, the pesto cavatappi isn't as good as I expected, so I've only ordered that once and not at this location. I've experienced good, friendly customer service at this location. No complaints. My kids love this place, too! It's my daughter's go-to pasta joint.

This place is the best fast-food, semi-healthy, amalgamation of food places ever... I usually dislike places that have too many types of food, but they keep it fairly simple! And while it's a chain, all of the ones that I have been to are fairly consistent with one another! My favorite is their Italian menu, as I usually get the Tomato Bisque Soup, one of the italian noodles, with the Parmesan Crusted Chicken (which is my favorite part of it all)!!! All of the ones I have been to, which is about 4 different ones, have all been clean, friendly, and efficient. The one that this review for, on Timberline, was especially great as the service was great, and the folks who worked there was very nice and helpful! This is a great place to go if in a pinch! If you haven't been here, then you should definitely try it!!

I guess it's good for fast food, but if you're looking for good food....nope. The pasta is not cooked properly(al dente), the flatbread was undercooked, the salad was worse than what I had gotten at McDonald's before....Just don't waste your money, unless you need a carb fix and don't care about quality.

After reading some of the reviews, I would definitely have to agree that this location isn't as inviting as some of the others across Northern Colorado. After placing my order, it appeared that joking with co-workers and goofing around was more important than preparing orders. This being said, I can't knock the food. Noodles is a nice change from the stigma of fast food consisting of a greasy hamburger paired with a handfuls of salty fries and a bladder busting soda. I usually get the Penne Rosa with Parmesan-crusted chicken - it's absolutely delicious. Some other items I would highly recommend are the Japanese Pan-fried noodles or the American Classic mac and cheese.

Thinking about my experience here makes me want to puke... I went here with my husband and his sister. The food was fine, but the food is not the reason that I am writing this. I am writing this because the dishes were NASTY and DIRTY! After we ate, my sister-in-law decided to purchase a bottle of wine for our table. We received dirty glasses with our bottle. My glass still had someone's lipstick on it!! No big deal, right? I politely told the cashier and asked for 3 new wine glasses and she said that they are all in the "dishwasher" at the moment and it will take 5 minutes for them to be ready. I asked if I could have three regular glasses and she sent them to our table. Three more dirty glasses, one of which had lipstick on it, too! They never apologized or even made an attempt to find some clean glasses, so we enjoyed our wine in the to-go cups.

The food here is hit or miss. Usually dining in has fared better than take out. Their quality since they first opened has decreased. It is still a relatively fast dining experience but I can make better pad Thai at home. I don't know whether the quality of food is related to all locations or just this one in particular because I know I've enjoyed better food at other locations.

I love noodles! Especially the Fort Collins location. I don't understand why everyone has been so harsh on it. It is clean and stylish, just like any other Noodles chain restaurant. The staff are generally friendly. My boyfriend and I go in there so often that they actually remember us and are always pleasant. The food is just delicious. If you haven't been, you really need to go... I can't describe it in any way that would do it justice. My favorite dish is the Peanut Pad Thai, but they have so many options: their menu is separated into American, Mediterranean, and Asian. A lot of people love their original take on mac and cheese (WAY better than yucky Kraft mac & cheese). They also have really yummy soups and even offer beer and wine. The Fort Collins location has tons of seating, and in the warmer months opens its outdoor patio upstairs that over looks the street. It's really neat! It's a great place and offers healthy, original food options. I highly recommend it! My only complaint is that they got rid of their free student drink offer... but it won't keep me from coming back!

**Warning** The message you are about to read is intended to save your life. Okay, so maybe not your life but definitely some moolah. I've tried to like this place, I really have, but they just don't do it for me. Other than the mac 'n' cheese (this is why they get one star) I can't imagine ordering anything else off their menu. It's so bad that my friend has renamed their "pad thai" to "bad thai." It's a great idea but poorly executed.

My co-worker and I order lunch from here pretty regularly, at least once every couple weeks. It isn't great but you always know what you are getting. I get the Pesto Cavatappi and she has recently started ordering the Pad Thai. The service is always friendly and the food is always acceptable. No surprises, just comfortable.

I'm not big on salt and so the Italian seasoning was a little too salty for me. The quality of the noodles and butter very good. Noodles were cooked just right. The restaurant was pretty noisy; it was at lunch. I had Butter Noodles with parmesean crusted chicken. I'll eat it again with less Italian seasoning and no chicken.

It's over priced and the dishes are just ok. The best thing is the pasta fresca or the penne rosa they taste almost exactly the same the mac and cheese which is supposedly the favorite is pretty bland kraft macaroni and cheese is much better. I would save your money and make a tasty pasta dish at home.

Oh Noodles, how I miss you when I'm not in Colorado. I used to eat at Noodles at least a few times a week, having worked across the parking lot for years and it was damn good every time. Quick and easy. Now that I live across the country, I have to go at least once every time I'm in CO. I dream about their Mac and Cheese and its incredible yumminess. And the rice krispie treats. Yummy yum yum yum. Although I am disappointed they are no longer square-shaped. The squares were much better than the misshapen triangles they are now. Damn, now I want some Noodles, and I can't have any until May.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
